Is for the photographer enthusiast. Photographers with a passion, a desire to improve, move forward, encourage, have a goal. This network is to inspire photographers to try something new, learn more, get out of that stale stagnant puddle of water and be outstanding.
You do not need to have professional training. Self-taught photographers are welcome. All forms of cameras are also welcome, 35mm, box, disc, digital, SLR, DSLR etc. We are not snobs here, and snobbery will not be tolerated.
There will be contests available in groups and there will also be a.Photo of the day (a.Pd) and a.Photo of the week (a,Pw). At the end of the month there will be a contest where the a.Pw winning photos will be voted on and we will have a photo of the month (a.Pm)
New Guidelines and Changes Please Read!!!!
All right... the group has become pretty standard. My dream for a.Vision is that photographers with a real passion come here and post there works, get encouragement, critiquing, and that we can learn and grow from each other. I also would like the groups which have been set up for teaching and interests to be used better. I need people who are interested in helping with leading each group. I would prefer 2 co-leaders to each group, but I am not going to be picky. If see a particular group that interests you, please let me know and we will discuss you helping with it.
Also, it has been brought to my attention that we have 600 photos on the group. This is fantastic! However, it is making impossible for everyone's photos to receive the recognition they deserve. So, new ruling... All photographers are limited to 50 photos for their portfolio. You may add and delete as a new fav or new batch comes in, I encourage you to keep them fresh, keep things moving, but we have to make room for others. Also, no more than 8 uploads a day. So, I know this means a lot of us, me included are going to have to delete a lot of work and really sit and think which ones are important to have posted. This is not a problem I saw coming so quickly.
If there are any questions, please let me know! I want to keep as many of you happy as possible... However, note there are just some things I cannot bend on. Thank you! I will be sending out a note to all of you as well, per the changes.
